Farhana Naznin

DR. Farhana Naznin is a distinguished veterinary professional specializing in reproductive biotechnology, reconstructive surgery, and anesthesiology and diagnostic imaging for small pets, wild, and large animals. She holds a Master of Science in Theriogenology (2018) and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2016) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. She is currently a Lecturer at the School of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Gazipur.
Her professional journey includes roles such as Assistant Lecturer at Gono University and Assistant Researcher at the Krishi Gobeshona Foundation. Naznin's research has led to significant publications in esteemed journals, focusing on reproductive health and ultrasonographic monitoring in sheep and indigenous ewes. Notable works include studies on gestation age estimation using ultrasonography and determinants of successful pregnancy in ewes using frozen-thawed semen.
Naznin has been recognized with the National Science and Technology (NST) scholarship (2017-2018) and a General Grade Scholarship for her academic excellence in HSC examination (2010). She is an active member of the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) and the Bangladesh Veterinary Association (BVA), where she also serves as the Information and Technology Secretary for the Dhaka Division.
