Profile of Dr. Md Arif Uz Zaman

Dr. Md Arif Uz Zaman is an Associate Professor at the School of Education, Bangladesh Open University. He has teaching and research experience in the institutions of Bangladesh, Malaysia, and the UK. His qualifications include PhD in Educational Management from Malaysia, an MA in TESOL from England, and an MA with a BA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from Islamic University in Bangladesh.

His research interests include Open and Distance Learning (ODL), TESOL, current developments in English Language Learning and Teaching, Materials Development, Testing and Assessment, Translation Studies, and Educational Technology. He has published and presented his research papers at home and abroad. Dr. Arif teaches English Language and Literature along with Pedagogy of English. He is a profound reader and has a keen interest in studying novels and short stories.
