Md. Dulal Mahmud

Md. Dulal Mahmud is a Bangladeshi by birth. He has been serving as an Assistant Professor (Information and Communication Technology) in the Open School, Bangladesh Open University since February 2020. He joined as a Lecturer (Information and Communication Technology) in the Open School, Bangladesh Open University in May 2017. Before that, he has been serving as a Lecturer (Computer Science and Engineering) in Mirpur University College University since June 2007.
He completed his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science & Engineering at East West University, Dhaka. Before that, he received his Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Computer Science & Engineering, Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet and Post Graduate Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering, Training and Instrumentation Division, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. He has already published two research articles, three text books and editor of two books. His research interest includes Open and Distance Education and Technology-Enabled Learning, Data Analysis, Networking, Data Communication, Educational Technology, and E-learning.
Since his joining he has been given various academic tasks, completed those tasks successfully with minimum supervision and takes responsibility for the successful completion of each programme. Currently, he is assigned to ICT related teaching materials (lecture, books, and radio-TV programs) for different formal academic programs (SSC, HSC, BBS, BBA-Bangla, MBA-Bangla) of Open School. As an active faculty member of Open School, he is working as a member of different committee i.e., member of Curriculum Committee (Science), member of Curriculum Committee (Criminology and Criminal Justice) and member of Examination Committee (SSC, HSC, BBS, BBA-Bangla, MBA-Bangla). He is working as the Media Coordinator (Open School).
