ABOUT

Dr. Mohammad Jafaur Ahamed was born on October 3rd, 1977, in the village of Jadubpur, situated in the Lalmai Upazila under the district of Cumilla, Bangladesh. He is the eldest son of Mohammad Shofiqur Rahman and Mst. Monjuma Begum. Dr. Jafaur is married to Mst. Shilpi Khatun, and together they have two daughters named Jarin Tasnim and Jeba Tahsin. He is a Bangladeshi citizen by birth and adheres to the Sunni branch of Islam.

Dr. Mohammad Jafaur Ahamed is an esteemed accounting teacher at Bangladesh Open University (BOU), Gazipur-1705. He serves as the central coordinator of the BBA (Bangla) program and is actively engaged in various committees within BOU. With expertise in financial reporting, budget preparation, and tax calculation, he has received numerous accolades, including the Prime Minister's Gold Medal and the Top Brilliant Medal. Dr. Ahamed has authored ten textbooks, produced twenty-three educational videos, and published seventeen articles in esteemed journals. He holds a doctoral degree on the Practices of Accounting Information System in Commercial Banks of Bangladesh.
