Dr. Mohd. Amirul Islam is working as a Professor at the Open School, Bangladesh Open University, Bangladesh. Dr. Islam completed his B.Sc (Honours) and M.Sc in Applied Chemistry & Chemical Technology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh and awarded Ph.D in Polymer Chemistry from the same University under NST Fellowship. During his works at Bangladesh Open University(BOU), Dr. Islam developed many self-learning modules and published research articles in the national and international journals. He attended a number of conferences, seminars, and workshops at home and abroad. His research interests include Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Natural Science and other related fields, Open and Distance Learning (ODL), Curriculum Development, and e-learning.
